My goodness, it has been a looooong week!! The week started with a Monsour family gathering and ended with a graduation ceremony and an awards ceremony…I’m still smiling!! You want more?! Well, It was our last week of school, we busted out the “White Trash Water Park” (a family favorite), a day of fun with my best friend and her family, a photo session with a great group of boys, and a picnic at the lake!! All in all…a wonderful week for my project 365.
Not all the attractions are open yet…we still have to buy this year’s pop up pool. We do have the sprinkler setup attached to the trampoline as well as the play yard/swing set…summer is officially here!!

This is pretty self-explanatory, isn’t it?

The best way to get a real smile from kids? Have kids make their silliest faces while you take a couple of photos, once everyone is laughing, then get their attention and take the real photo…works every time!

One of my very best friends came over for a visit and brought her two wonderful children. The older two monkeys came home after lunch and we all spent the day together. We had a wonderful time!! The white trash water park was in full swing and when the kids got too waterlogged we made a giant batch of the solid-liquid substance and explored, played, and made a colossal MESS!! I would do it all over again, anytime:)

For the graduation ceremony, each kindergartener decorates a cutout person to represent themselves in some way. Annalise wanted to decorate her ‘graduation girl’ as a rock star because that’s what she wants to be when she grows up.
At least it’s better than what she wanted to be a few years ago…a sea turtle!!

My beautiful little girl is growing up too quickly, but we are so proud of her!! She is bright, witty, and a burst of sunshine that brightens the day of everyone she meets…My Annalise Rose…

Yeah, there was a half day of school today…and yeah, we skipped!! I’m a responsible parent all school year-long, but all they were going to do is watch a movie! Instead, we went to the lake with their grandmother (Nonna) to have a picnic!!

What a wonderful week!! I’m really looking forward to this summer vacation and all the memories we’ll build as a family. Happy Summer everyone!!
